In a powerful act of historical revisionism, this enredo told the "untold" history of Brazil—the stories of the indigenous resistance, the black struggle for freedom, and the marginalized heroes who are often left out of official textbooks. It challenged the traditional narrative of "discovery" and "heroism," highlighting figures like Marielle Franco, Sepé Tiaraju, and Dandara dos Palmares. 

The theme was a provocative critique of the "official" history that often erases the suffering and the bravery of those who built the nation from the bottom up. It called for a new understanding of Brazilian identity, one that recognizes the blood and the resilience of the poor and the oppressed as the true foundation of the country's spirit. 

The parade was deeply emotional, ending with a powerful display of flags representing the diverse people of Brazil. It was more than just a carnival entry; it was a cultural and political manifesto that resonated deeply with a nation grappling with its past and its future, becoming one of the most talked-about parades in modern history. 

Result: 1st Place (Champion). 

Trivia: The green and pink version of the Brazilian flag used in the parade’s finale became a cultural icon in Brazil and was later acquired by the Museum of Art of Rio (MAR) for its permanent collection.
