This enredo explored the creation of the world according to the Nagô (Yoruba) tradition, focusing on the Orixás and the mythology that forms the foundation of Afro-Brazilian religions. The theme was a deep dive into the spiritual roots of the Brazilian people, specifically those of African descent, bringing a sacred atmosphere to the avenue. The parade featured the creation myths involving Olodumare and the various Orixás like Obatalá and Oduduwa. It was a visually stunning representation of the elements of nature associated with each deity, such as the waters of Iemanjá and the fire of Xangô. The school utilized rich symbolism and traditional colors to honor the ancestral wisdom of the Nagô people. Another Joãosinho Trinta masterpiece, this theme blended religious devotion with the theatricality of carnival. It emphasized the importance of preserving African heritage in Brazil and solidified Beija-Flor's reputation as a school capable of handling complex, culturally significant themes with immense grandeur and respect. 

Result: 1st Place (Champion). 

Trivia: This victory completed Beija-Flor's first "tricampeonato," a feat that cemented their status as a dominant force in Rio's carnival history.
